A day of celebrating the good days for Kurt Boekenhauer and family, with music, food a silent auction with friends and community support We hope you can join us for a day of Supporting local resident Kurt Boekenhauer, Kurt was born in Sycamore and he and his family currently reside in Genoa. Kurt has recently been diagnosed with Gastric cancer. This will be a day of celebrating the good days. 3 bands will be rockin' our outdoor stage, Flannel Daze starts at 1 then swamp Rock, Convoy rocks the mid afternoon with Dan Peters band finishing off the event in grand style. Inside there will be 3 local solo artist performing on our indoor stage, Lee Gardner starts at 1 then Wally Mulso takes over at 2 with Joe Cantafio at 3. There will be a silent auction starting at 1 featuring such prizes as a 4 day Apple vacation, Flowering crabapple trees, Cornfest VIP tx, Aldeen golf course tix, Numerous gift baskets and much much more! Other activities include a blind wine pull, 50/50 raffles as well as duck pull for the kiddos and Amy's art of faces face painting! 3 food trucks will be on site, Slow Smoke BBQ, Jah Love Jamaica & Da Pizza Truck. Both outdoor bars as well as the inside bar will be open for this benefit featuring our Whiskey slushies in the Tiki bar, a signature cocktail, Local Craft beers, domestics and mocktails.
