PEI Kids fosters child-safe communities by delivering expert crisis, preventative, and intervention programs addressing personal safety, sexual abuse, and the overall wellbeing of vulnerable children. “Through our innovative programs and compassionate approach, we strive to make a positive impact on the lives of those we serve, fostering resilience and hope for a brighter future.” PEI Kids’ Board of Trustees, Strategic Planning Committee PEI Kids’ Prevention Education programs seek to reduce vulnerability and prevent violence and abuse against children while encouraging safe disclosure of abuse, neglect, fear, or danger in their lives. PEI Kids’ Intervention programs help children impacted by violence, crime, abuse, and neglect work through some of the most tumultuous times in their lives. We never turn away a child or family in need. In coordination with New Jersey Department of Children and Families, PEI Kids provides family support for children in foster care and families under DCPP supervision.
