Caring for and nurturing children for over 50 years • Spring and Summer Camp Application – grades TK – Fifth • We are now enrolling for the preschool program ages 2-5 Lakeshore Children’s Center: The aim of Lakeshore Children’s Center: A Children’s Peace Academy is to provide care in an atmosphere of loving concern, where a child may discover themselves and parents feel a true sense of support in their parenting. We welcome children of all racial, religious and ethnic backgrounds. Our center is licensed by the State Department of Social Services. Children are accepted from the ages of two to five years for the preschool program, and TK to fifth grade for the School Age Program. The Center offers a year round, full day program. We accept admissions throughout the year, subject to available space. We are located in the heart of Oakland, blocks away from Lake Merritt. The first step in deciding to enroll your child in LCC is an appointment to visit our Center. To schedule a tour or for more information please contact us directly. Applications are now being accepted for our School-age camp programs. Spring camp dates are April 6 – 10, hours are 8:30 am – 5:30 pm. Summer camp begins June 1. A completed application along with full payment ensures your child’s spot. Please call for more information. Minimum age for camp is 5 years old. Our daughter has been at LCC for two and a half years and the teachers that she started with are still there. This consistency provides the kids with a great sense of security.
