Founded in March 2009 by Shaira Bhan, Dance Identity (DI) was created to offer professional dance instruction in a structured and supportive environment. Shaira is a professional dancer, choreographer, and teacher with over 20 years of experience. She has choreographed and performed in Bollywood films such as Dhoom, Namaste London, Teen Patti, and U, Me, Aur Hum, and was the resident Dance Director for Bodylicious on NDTV Goodtimes India. With expertise in Contemporary, Hip Hop, Bollywood, Ballet, Jazz, and Salsa, Shaira’s passion for dance and nurturing talent has shaped DI’s mission. Dance Identity offers a wide variety of dance styles including Bollywood, Hip Hop, Contemporary, and Salsa, catering to all age groups and skill levels. Our classes help students build confidence and self-esteem, using movement as a powerful tool for self-expression. For those aiming to elevate their skills, DI also offers specialized technique classes for aspiring professional dancers, instructors, or choreographers. In addition to dance, Dance Identity offers D.I.Fit—an energetic and fun dance fitness program combining Bollywood, Bhangra, Hip Hop, and Latin moves that target key areas like abs, hips, thighs, and core, while improving flexibility and strength. Our high-quality instruction, led by a team of talented instructors personally trained by Shaira, sets DI apart from the rest, creating a space for everyone to grow, move, and thrive.
