The concept of memorizing the movement through repetition. Understanding how to functionally use the movement through sparring. The concept of how to properly use movements to hit the target. Understanding of how and when to throw an attack or defend successfully. The concept of how to use angles to hit the target. Understanding how to hit a target when the opportunity arises. The concept of being quick or powerful through reaction. Understanding how to maneuver, confuse, interrupt and have power behind movement. Ohana Mixed Martial Arts is a sparring school. Our belt system in ranks is earned through the development of specific moves, combos, and techniques in a sparring environment. All students are also required to do their part for the community as community service goes hand-in-hand with training at Ohana Mixed Martial Arts.
