MusicMandarinSchool LLC is a state-licensed high-quality child care in Portland, culturally based, bilingually immersive, and musically enriching early learning & care program + afterschool program. We accept children from 6 months to 12 years of age. We are open Monday through Friday, 7:30am-5:30pm. 4 meals a day, 3 yards with 2 covered porches, 1 separate napping room, 0 screen time. Consistent and predictable routines are central to curriculum as they encourage children with opportunities for independence, socialization and self-assurance. The staff working with the two to five year-olds maintains a 1:5 teacher-to-child ratio. Materials and experiences encourage literacy, math and scientific inquiry, artistic expression, social play, and plan their activity to try out their ideas. Children have large blocks of time for outdoor play. Empower our children 6 months-12 year olds with enrichment programs, unleashing their creativity and artistic expression, promoting physical and mental well-being through our engaging programs: Songs and Dances, Arts and Crafts, Culinary and Taichi programs. The piano is one of the most popular instruments in the world. Do you know? The piano has over 12,000 parts, 10,000 of which are moving. It is an enormous number of small pieces that need to work as a team perfectly to get the sound that you want out of the instrument.
