Support wildlife in your backyard! This interactive kids class will teach young gardeners just how to do it. Recommended for ages 3-6. This class is based on the Habitat Hero G.R.O.W. Guide by Mother Grows Best. You may download the full, free guide on our website at: www.MotherGrowsBest.org/habitat-hero-supporting-wildlife-at-home Parking: Upper or lower parking lot Meet at: Sea Star Shelter Park in either the upper or lower parking lot. The lower lot is closest to the shelter. Go left when you reach the sidewalk, over the bridge and past the tables until you reach Sea Star Shelter. We will meet at the picnic tables under the pavillion. *There is a playground and bathroom near the parking lot. The park also features many forested hikes, coastal exploration and an Environmental Science Center. Optional: There must be at least one adult per 2 kids. When selecting tickets, please use the corresponding "Child" or "Adult" ticket for each participant. This outdoor educational program includes light physical activity and short nature walks. Participation involves inherent outdoor risks, including uneven terrain, weather conditions, and exposure to natural environments. Parents/guardians are responsible for informing the program leader of any medical conditions, allergies, or accommodations needed for participation. Parents/guardians will be required to sign a consent form prior to participation. The form will be emailed in advance and will also be available the day of the class.
